Waterfront and Landing Maintenance
Garr successfully reinforced the loose landing post using stone ballast and fascines, timing the repairs carefully so that landing operations and boat traffic continued without disruption. His inspections of the reed boat fleet confirmed that the hulls remain sound and river-worthy. Under Fara’s watchful management, landing traffic moved smoothly.
Exchange at Measure House
Jora led the boat crew upriver to Measure House and completed the scheduled early spring grain-for-baskets exchange alongside Keeper Oren and Sella. The transaction was conducted without dispute; the receipts and dual-notched tallies aligned exactly with the standard delivery delivery specifications. The grain boat returned safely downstream to Reedhaven, delivering the vital staple grain required to sustain ordinary spring work.
Provisions and Community Subsistence
Ivo oversaw the intake of the newly delivered grain bags. To stretch these supplies and ensure no meals are skipped, marsh foraging was carried out across the waterways, bringing in supplemental wild roots and seasonal foods to bolster community reserves.
Looking Ahead
While immediate food supplies are secured for daily labor, Reedhaven's marsh terrain yields little grain of its own, leaving our security closely tied to predictable river trade.
